Hey folks,

well The Wiggles are in town and my wife somehow convinced me to go this time (last year, I had an excuse)...

So we got on the Long Island Rail Road bound for Manhattan....along with a gazzillion other toddlers and their parents...

I commented to a friend (whos wife and son were going with us) that it was the first time I was on the train going to a concert, where the concert goers/train riders weren't either piss drunk or puking.

He goes "No, instead of smelling puke, you get to smell poop"...

Anyway, we get to the show, they come out and start doing their schtick....and at one point, Murray (the red wiggle) goes over to his guitar stand, picks up his red guitar and starts playing. I look behind him and I could swear I see a matchless lightning at his feet.

I turn to my wife, "Look, Murray's playing a matchless lightning"

She rolls her eyes....

Anyway, I had to take some pictures to prove it. Compared the snapshots to pictures of lightning's on the matchless website.

If this aint a lightning, I'm jiminy cricket:

Hey actually can play...he played a bit of Stairway to Heaven for the adults...

But for the most part, I couldn't hear much of his guitar....I would say 95% of the concert is prerecorded material.

Definitely!

Look at the condenser mic on the amp. If it's a 1X12, that's one hell of an 'off-axis' mic placement.

I went to one of the shows at the Theatre at MSG. I also had to go see them a few months back at the Spectrum in Philly. It wasn't as painfull as I thought it would be. Pretty cool actually. WWWWAAAAAYYYYYYY better than a Barney show! Glad my daughter is not into him. I really couldn't see his equipment from where we sat. That's pretty cool about the Lightening.

I always wondered what kind of guitars they played.

Anyone know pricing on those?

Greg
