Way back when,4-5 years ago, I ordered a Trinity 18 watt transformer set for my superlite II build. The amp sounded good...real good...when it first came together. I just recently started a little bit of tweaking and changed out a few caps/resistors based on some updated schematics, and just for kicks I swapped out the Trinity OT for a never-used Classic Tone I had sitting around. The amp sounded good but something was missing...like the harmonics were gone. Thought it might've been the cap/resistor changes but I figured I should first try and go back to the Trinity OT... so I dropped the Trinity OT back in and WOW what a difference. It was just amazing how much fuller and "lively" the amp sounded.
Just thought I'd share this with those of you looking at a new build or an upgrade...the Trinity 18watt RS clone is head and shoulders above the Classic Tone. And at a decent price!
