Putting together the first TriFly in the small enclosure - about 5"x7"x1.3". This will be the final iteration of the design.
First we do the design on the computer. Then tape the drawings to the enclosure.

Then we drill out all the holes and tap holes where necessary.

Next step is to fit all the parts to ensure they all will go in physically and then drop in a bare eyelet board and do a final fit.

Next step in this build is to go to the paint booth and put a first coat of Red Sparkle paint.

Once that is done, the parts will go back on, the board built and installed and the TriFly tested.

Then its off to the studio for final testing before production begins.

This is no toy. It's a great one-knob wonder amp that you can put on your pedal board or on top of a speaker cabinet. Kits and amps will be available soon and an amp building course based on ot.

I thonk the final colour will be brighter. finished the painting and printed the front and rear decals. Plan to apply them tomorrow and then will post mpre pictures.
The laser printer would not print grey or white letters so the prototype lettering will be black on red. we'll see how that looks, might be cool.

We were trying to keep costs down and simplicity up, so there is no stock Line Out or Headphone jack. Both of these should be straightforward and we will produce a design for them.

Here's a picture of the Final Prototype. Check out the Indicator Lighting!

We have a schematic to add on a headphone jack. We can provide it for you to try.
