Hey folks,

I'm thinking about the possibility of drilling a pair of holes in my lightning for a series effects loop (just before the PI).

Have any of you guys done so on your lightning? and if so, where'd you drill the hole. The lightning chassis (and the placement of the OT) don't lend a very good position for one. I suspect it will have to be between the output jacks and the power/fuse section....

any reason why this would be a potentially frustrating endeavor?

I would say as long as you pick the shortest distance between two pints, far from AC, you shouldbe OK. Use a simple effects loop. I have one that worked on a TMB channel.

The shortest distance I ever found between two pints was the Red Lion and the Oddfellows Arms, two pubs bang next door to each other on my home town main street. :-)

I got one better, just order 2 pints at the same bar....anything worth doing, is worth overdoing...especially when pints of beer are concerned!
