They can be set from Horizontal to Vertical as desired for working on an amp and fit a chassis from 12" to 23" wide. They have convenient handles to carry the cradle and amp together.

Here's a pictorial of how to assemble the Amp Cradle kit.







Attach one Slide Guide to the left half.








Slide the right half into the left half and attach the last Slide Guide ensuring it slides smoothly.










Adjust width to fit your amp, tighten the knob. Set the angle you want to work on, tighten the knobs.

Just to specify, construction is 3/4" baltic birch for the end pieces, 1/2" BB for the bottoms and all the solid wood is american poplar. Holes in the Birch ply are pre drilled to prevent splitting. T nuts are preinstalled, and all screws are included. Predrilling into the poplar is not necessary as the screws are deep thread and wont split it.

Just need to take 15 minutes or so, and screw it together.

The pieces are machine sanded and most edges broken already.

Weight is approx. 3 Kg for a completed stand.

You have 90 degrees adjustment from fully horizontal to fully vertical. A small C clamp might be a good idea to hold the chassis to the blocks when going close to vertical...

I don’t suppose there are any of these left or if anyone has one they aren’t using any more.

Parts cost isn't too bad, just need the tools to build it. I received one as a gift several years ago and can't imagine working on amps without one. Very much worth the investment!

I ended up building one myself. Usinf the schematic from the cradle above. It doenst swing around or adjust to different sizes but I didnt think I would need that if this is going to be my only amp im building. If not I made it so I can add those details later.
