I think there may be work to do. The gallery is not up.

And when I search for sIII, there is nothing, but the posts are there. :?: :?:

So I tried to search for s2, then Trinity same result "No topics or posts met your search criteria"

When I searched for GDS, "Search found 535 matches". Swanson Search found 336 matches

What's up with that? :?: :?:

I just did a search over there. Your avatar is still working, while others have recently been removed. Enjoy it while it lasts!

18watt has canned all banner ads and "mini banners" (commercial avatars) -- whatever the perception is/was, we always wanted it to be even-handed and non-prejudicial.

Our official stance is 'please tell all of us which company you represent (if any) in your (short) sig.'

I personally (and a few of the other 18watt moderators) have no amp/parts business at all, and have no product to push or axe to grind; we just like the 18watt world. :)

I visited your site recently. You have built some very nice amps. Thanks for sharing your work with us online.

Mark, You have always been extremely open with the membership and I really appreciate that.

Some day, I really have to make that 6V6 Plexi - but I AM really close to it. The sIII is very darn Plexi, so I plan to pop a pair of 6V6 in there and let 'er rip.

I think I'll start a thread soon on that. Would appreciate any/all suggestions!

I'm telling you Mark, I'm that close! :D

It wont be the MarkH design , but nonetheless an sIII with the 6V6s. I have a JTM45 board I was thinking about using for the same project. What I'd like is a 9 pin to octal socket apapter. That would make it really easy!

Going to move this over to:

viewtopic.php?t=92&highlight=6v6

Interesting thread over at the BBQ Boy board. Seems like new members are being approved very slowly.

P.S. The BBQ Boy 18watt head kits prices have gone up a few bucks.

Ted's version of the story looks like he used up about five gallons of whitewash.

Or hogwash...

I wonder what would happen if someone logged on and called him out....

Im not advocating this, as I dont want to agrivate the situation, however...but I would be real curious to see how he responded to some hard questioning regarding this issue...

I think until we all see the evidence, we'll never know the truth. Let it Be!
