Hi All,
I finished my first kit build last night and couldn't believe it worked on the first try. It sounds so much better than I expected as well. Glorious clean tone with more headroom than I expected. I've already mentally noted the mods I want to make (flubby bass cranked), but overall I'm beside myself with how good it turned out. Thanks to all of you who contribute in this forum. This forum was a great resource as I went through the process. A few specific "shout out's" in order:
@pharmrock - For you help with my transformer wiring question. My PT was a little different than the documented one and you offered the confidence I needed to move on.
@roar - I used your question and posted photos as reference material
@michaelwwestbrook - I built this amp because of your Youtube videos. I'm a subscriber and have watched the build video for this kit at least 10 times each.
@heave1 - I had the same bushings question and got the answer from your post.
A couple of other sources I watched multiple times were DK Pedals and Carmel Tones on Youtube. Especially this 6 part series:
