Hello all,

I'm looking to build a 1/2 power circuit like the Matchless DC30 (switches in an additional cathode bias resistor in series), and also something to bring in additional filtering to the preamp section (maybe a 10uf electrolytic or so...). The amp in question is an AC30ish build I'm in the middle of completing. What swtiches work best for these uses? SPST, DPDT? What models/makes?

Thanks so much!

The current in the cathode bias circuit is not large, so a 5A switch would work fine. I suggest a 2PDT, 5A switch
