Hey everyone, first time poster here at Trinity.. I'm only a hop and skip away in Ottawa so naturally I was drawn here. I know there is a lot of talk about an sIII loaded for either EL84's or 6V6's, but are there plans to offer a unique sIII with 6V6's and maybe some guidance on how to bias it for EL34's? Just an idea, but i know that the roar of 6v6's interests me.

A 6V6 model is a possibility today. The difference is the chassis needs the holes increased for two octals.

An EL34 model - yes, need to think on that for a bit.

nice! I was unaware that a 6v6 cut chassis with octals was part of the kit offering currently. I thought the 6v6/EL84 design was in proto-type stages. I just thought it would be cool to take it up a notch and see if the same theory could be applied to an sIII running 6V6/EL34's for those of us who like to rock slightly harder at times. I'm very much looking forward to seeing if this can be done as I am currently deciding which kit to build next. Not sure why you don't often hear about 18 watters running EL34's..
