Good doins! Sounds like you got that sIII & gear on the edge! Seems just on the edge of wanting to go into major feedback at times. Cool!

Intersting that you had the channels jumped.

Would be very intersting to hear the same piece on 6V6.

Thanks for posting the clip.

Nice clip LeeMo. Very Meaty tone. 1230-55 and a blue dog 'eh? Speaker combo seems to work well together.

BTW, your setup is very similar to mine with the M-Audio sound card and Mackie VLZ pre's.

Keep on rockin'!

LeeMo,

Boy, those two clips really demonstrate the difference between the two tube sets. Good playin' and nice tone.

Well, the tone is there. The playing on the other hand is much like my typing... hunt and peck. With no realtime "Backspace".

The 6v6's definitly have a differnent bottom end response than the EL84's.

The only differences that I can guess besides the change in tubes is I may have had the volume on the guitar higher on the 6v6's and the dog may have bumped the mics (stereo bar holding the two close mics). She wouldn't admit it when I asked her about it.

For someone who keeps saying clammy, you sound great. After hearing your clips, I can't wait for my parts. So I can hear bliss. Trinity has got the sound. and you play better then you give yourself credit for.
By the way, that dog of yours better start talking or in the corner with the dunce cap he goes
