jac,
Only one problem. We don't have a password.
Is there a box to check that allows others to view your pics?

Working. I detect a turret board terminal strip. I like that.
A combo is harder to wire up but it has it's advantages. Some of the wires are really short = = quiet.

Good eyes for such a lousy picture. Yes, I built a turret terminal strip. Had a small piece left over and said what the heck. Matches very nicely.
The wires are definately cut short and should prove more quiet. But man, is it hard to solder. No room. I'm trying to make sure the layout is nice, but it's tough.
It might be taking awhile because I'm so much of a perfectionist, but as usual, I'm having a ball :D

Hey, you know what was also tough! The standby and power switches. The layout shows the front to rear switches and you sent the side by side.
Had to figure that out, but I think I got it.

I can't understand how to wire the "heater wires". Am I just cutting the wires at the tube socket or is thier some special way of cutting them.
Hopefully somebody's around.
Thanks

I cut the heater wires at each socket, then start the run from that socket to the next one. In other words each socket connection has two wires attached, one from the previous tube socket (or transformer) and the wire to the next tube socket.
Make sure that you run the same wire to the same pin out on each socket as shown on the layout.

Hope this helps.

I do it the same way jcny does it i.e. two connections per pin.

Sorry guys, as of now, I have no access to a digital camera right now to document my build discussion. :(

I'm spending all of my money on amp kits (the SIIIv6), cabs (the hardwood cab pictures that Stephen has been showing recently are for me) and guitars (got a Les Paul R8 a few months ago. :D

Priorities! :D
