Figured. Sounds like you have to hook up the Attenuator!

Sounds like you need a headphone option on that attenuator!!

Hey, now you're talkin. How does that work? My guess is just to add another output jack and some resistors. But aren't headphones like 32ohm or something like that? I might feel more comfortable using that other model you posted on the attenuator thread. Since it can be safely used as a dummy load it might be a better option for headphones. But I don't know how this stuff works, so I'll do some searches. I bet I can figure this one out.

Check out this amp. The Studio 15 had a headphone out on the speaker output.

That looks pretty simple and I don't see why I couldn't just add those jacks right in the box. The top schematic in the pdf is hard to read, but I think it says the speaker and headphone outputs are 8ohm (the writing is pretty small). Is that right?

Also, with those 25w and 3w resistors in there would it be safe to use this with no speaker plugged in, OR as a dummy load?

Thanks,

Adam

Havn't had time to mess with the attenuator at all. But I did finish the cab for this amp. I borrowed some dimensions from a JTM45, but mostly made up the details. I used softwood shelves I found at Ikea. Kind of a pain in the ass to work with. But I'm stubborn.... I hand cut dovetails only to cover them up. Most unsatisfying thing I've ever done. :D

By the way, I'm glad this amp is done because it sounds freakin' amazing.

First time I saw your pics. Good job. For a guy living in a condo and no shop you're quite amazing!

Dovetails - Oh my!
