I put the 500pf silver mica in and it really stiffens the amp up. A little too much for my preference actually, but a cool (and fast!) thing to try.

I have a .0015 uf right now as well. Vox JMI AC30's used a 470 pf. From what I read, a .001 uf = 1000 pf. Would .0015 = 1500 pf? Making it even less stiff than the .001? And the 470 pf would be even more stiff than the 500 pf? Am I interpretting the effect of the values correctly?
