I'm obviously hogging the board, starting to feel bad.
Jeez, Can't help it I'm home    .
So here ya go, my thought for the evening:

Hi I'm Jac :D,
I'm a tubeaholic :D :D :D
I haven't bought a NOS tube in three (3) weeks.

Pink Floyd "Animals" is on the computer and I'm populating a third board. But taking a break right now.
Sucks getting old, eyes give out   really
Have a nice night all. James! where's the new clips, damn your good.
Later,
Jac

The champ turned into an Angela 2 x 6v6. :D S2 led me in the right direction.
Here's a couple of pics. Not great, but they'll do for now.
Chassis wouldn't clean up, so I used automotive paint and it turned out very cool. :D :D
Can't wait to here her.

Wait I'm getting lasy.
I know I read it, but I forget.

What kind of transformer has 2 coils. Wrapped side by side around the plates.

Anyone around?

Looks like this schem has a choke. S2 recommended 3 - 22uf and 1 rectifier. Do I still need the choke?
Hopefully not. Thanks.
Yes I know it's a terrible schem, but all I got.
I really wanted to place 2 6V6['s in here. just to see if I could do it.
Thanks to anyone.
Jac

You can use a resistor across A-B but I'm guessing there's a choke in there for a reason! Try 1.5K 5W like the 18 watt amp or go get a choke.

Hmm, get a choke. The rat shack has none and Wallco (actually has some parts) doesn't carry them, sucks. Shipping again. Now how in the h**l do I fit a choke in this tiny little chassis  I guess on the side.. It's fun building junkyards, because you learn so much. But boy, it's tight . She's a virgin for sure

I use a 4.6K 3W resistor instead of the choke in my 5E3 and it works fine. I would suggest it was reasonable substitution.

Thanks Nigel, I ordered the choke now. In fact ordered 2 just to have one on hand. Haven't had to deal with a choke before till now. Well I guess I'll have to get use to it, Cause the TC (That I own, YEA) has a choke.
Just starting to get into the Vox side of building.
Thanks alot,
Jac

No choke on the TC-15. USed a 1.5K 5W and it was good. You can use a choke instead if you prefer.
