Well ,first test done-no smoke,2 curious voltages tho...pin 4-yellow wire- on the rectifier socket(no tube installed)says 3.68VAC pin 5- white wire -says 8.05VAC.Any ideas?other readings normal..

For those filament voltage checks, I think you need to measure from pin 4 to pin 5 not referenced to ground.

There should be 6-7 Volts AC across pins 4 & 5. Without the rectifier, little to no on pin 3.

IT"S ALIVE--IT"S ALIVE !! Got my rectifier tube in the mail this AM .Put it in ,did the tests-tubes in -Presto-Rock-o-rama!!Everything is working great ,no hum issues.Best of all it sounds Awesome.Can't wait to crank it up with the crew.Next step ,try all my preamp tubes for the best combo....Hmmm -I wonder which kit will be next!Thanx Coco -bitchin kit man!

Yes, I still have a ground fault. Since yours sIII is working now I'd ;like to compare. This way I'll make sure the top is identical 2 yours. Looks like I'm going to have to take the board back off. That's a bitch job. I'm still hoping it's on the top.
Be nice to check against yours.
Also be nice to finish, because the TC's coming. :lol:

Day 2 -amp still rockin' .I installed the boost mod today,Definitely recommended ! I'm using a Radial JX-2 switcher for a 2 channel setup .Thios is sooo much fun!
