Ya! Happy 4th to all my american friends! One thing about forums like this one is that you find out how little difference there is between music lovers all over North America.
All the best!

Well, I gotta ask and I'm gonna get creamed here. What's Canada Day? Don't injure me to bad.
At least I'm curious enough to ask :)

Canada Day, formerly Dominion Day, is Canada's national holiday, marking the establishment of Canada as a self-governing country on July 1, 1867. July 1, 1867 marks the establishment of Canada as "a kingdom in its own right," the beginning of a new phase of Canadian self-sovereignty, and a gradual march towards full independence from Britain.

Unlike Independence Day, Canada Day does not commemorate a clear-cut date of "independence" .
