Are the 12" Alnico hemp cone for the 1x12 slll kits 8 ohms or 16?

Typically 116 are 8 ohms, but 16s if desired. Can use ceramics too! 8 or 16.

How would I know what the difference 16 or 8 ohms? If I set it to the wrong impedance 16 instead of 8 or vis versa is it going to blow the speaker?

Nope. If the switch is at 8 and you put a 16 ohm speaker, the tubes will 'see' an impedance that is half the Output transformer. e.g if it was an 8K OT, the tubes would see 4K. Means the tone will sound a little 'rougher' maybe. Also, the tubes would work a litle harder and may eventually over a long time, wear out faster.
