So , today I mounted some Piezos under the ridge of my Taylor GS as per the instructions on the K&K pickup site. I had to try it out, so I plugged her into the TMB channel on my V6 Trinity. I put the Master on 10, the Vol on 2, the Bass on 10, the Mid on 8 , and the Treb on 9. Thru my Bluedog alnico and my 1230-55 ceramic BBQ speakers.
To my poor tired ears it came thru pretty good. Oh yeah, I used the "Boost" and the EL84's.

Hi LeeMo, I often use the Ovation through the sIII, it gives a brilliant sound.

I'll have to try that out too. Sounds interesting. I guess it wasn't acoustic clean though.

With the master down low it is pretty clean. The peizo quackiness is compressed somewhat by the tubes. The boost adds gain and treble, or so it seems.

Do you mean the Master @ Max and the Vol low.

Boost adds both, but the 22uf lets a lot of broad band gain into the mix. Tighten the gain bandwidth up with a lower value.
