Folks,

I had to put my Lightning build away for a while. The worst part is that I only had to wire up the input and output sections. I'm going to fire it up today after I visit my local electronics supplier to buy the necessary stuff to make a cap discharging tool.

I'm looking for some plans to build a head. Would it best to take the 1x12 combo plans here and alter it or is there a plan for a head only? Does anyone have any plans for a matching 2x12 cab?

Pics coming soon. I want to do another amp but I thought I'd let you guys critique my work.

Thanks!

Eric

The head is just a combo cab cut short to about 8" tall and a solid front. The plans are posted in the lightnig section. Send some pics of the inside and we'll look them over.

Thanks you! I sort of thought that was how you did the head but wanted to make sure. I'm trying to think of any ways I could maybe adjust the look of the front panel or something. There are some awfully creative people posting on these boards.

I'm still looking for a 2x12 cab plan if anyone knows of one. Preferably it would be in the matchless style.

Check out the gallery at http://www.trinityamps.com/Album/index.html

The cabs with no piping across the top (i.e. non MArshall style) are mostly what I think you are looking for. They are 28" X 10.5" X 20" 3/4" baltic birch. Panels in rear about 6-1/2" each for a 33% opening.
