Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has done this, or knows how to do this. I would like to wire in a switch (preferably footswitchable) that toggles between single and dual triodes in the first 12ax7 of Lightning. I occasionally put a 12ay7 in for cleaner sound, but prefer the sound of a 12ax7 (either single or dual). Any thoughts or schematics out there?

Whatever wires are used to disengage the 2nd triode should be short to mimimize hum, noise etc. Should be doable. There was a previous thread posted on "Cleaning up the Lightning" that might be helpful.
