 Post subject: Tighten up an sIII plexi

Hi, Have an sIII that i switched to the sIII plexi values as per the layout stickyed (sp). However, both channels are a bit muddy now with hb's after midway or so. Looking for TIGHT grind and crunch up the dial. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Haven't had that comment before. Drop the output tubes cathode bypass cap to 25-50uf / 50V

I just (this afternoon) swapped out the three caps to change my TMB side of my sIII into a "plexi"...

There is a very noticeable difference in tone, more chimy-grind if thatmakes sense. I will need to play with it for a while but from first impressions I think I like it a lot! I left the right hand side alone.

I found it really cuts through the mix on stage as well.
