Hi,

Looking for recommendations on which Trinity to build for home playing (so the model that sounds best cranked may not be the best choice). I try to play classic rock, Cooper, Cream. Zep etc.javascript:emoticon(':)')
Smile

So which Trinity 18, has the best thick warm cleans (don't need Fender clean) and heavy crunch. I realize that saying one is better than another is very subjective, but, any and all opinions welcomed.

Thanks,
Mark

My advice: Go for the tone you want. They are all pretty loud.
Sounds like the sIII would be best for you. With the boost switch, it pretty well covers everyting except metal!

Then deal with the extra volume with an attenuator of some sort. Even the simplest ones can do a decent job. We posted some examples.

What is your experience with building.
I think I would take Coco's advise and run with the sIII. The amp will absolutely give the bands your looking for.. In addition, a little easier to build.
And with Trinity's flawless (I like that word, lol) builder's guide, you'll have an amazing amp, and be back for more. Like the rest of us.
We all built the Trinity amps. There is none better out.
Take it from me, I'm a research freak.
Good luck,
Jac

Forgot, the attenuators Coco was talking about work great. Have been tried and tested.
Go for it, None of us have regretted anything.

I went with the V6 plexi voiced also. Guess if I'm going to take the leap, might as well take a big leap :D (we'll see if I'm smiling when I'm done )

Actually just received the amp the other day and am still going through the manual and searching the site for as much V6 build info and pictures I can find. Since this is my first build, I plan to take my time and try to learn as much as I can.
