Well, I'm ready to post pics of my amp. I had it working great but was waiting for an impedance selector switch to arrive before I posted the pics.
Wouldn't you know it. After installing the switch, I now have a hum to troubleshoot. Oh, well. It WAS sounding great before.....
It's a fun project and you don't need to get in a hurry. It takes about 4 or 5 days to complete, plus then you have to work out small bugs like this hum.
Please give me constructive feedback, I'm not thin skinned. I'm trying to learn and this is a great way to learn more about amp construction and circuits.
The amp is a Trinity sIII with S2 transformers and a Mojo Cab with BBQ Blue Dog Speaker. Everyone supplied great quality components. Stephen Cohrs at Trinity was great to work with and always responsive. I can't recommend him enough.
