Here are some pics of No. 1 production TC-15 in raw state. This is going to dtonjes who has waited so patiently for so long. It's based on jpattons prototype. It will be Cream coloured.

Looks good, coco.

I don't see the woodwork for the tolexed portion of the front baffle. Is dtonjes going to go with the same type of grille cloth as I have? Will I need to get my grille cloth stencil out and fire up the airbrush?

dtonjes, what colour would you like the Trinity Amps logo? :D

Logo, if applied, to a thin backer piece located behind grille cloth.

Unless it's stenciled on!! :D

Hooray!!! My cab is on the way!!!! It looks great so far Stephen. :D
I'll just answer the questions you emailed me here:

Quote:
We decided not to put a vent in the top. The tubes are exposed at the back so couldn't really see the point.

I'm sure you're right about the vent, just leave it off.

Quote:
Also, the rear corners had to be square and the design ultimately meant that corners really aren't an option.

Don't bother trying to put corner covers on this cabinet either. Your Tolex applications always look fantastic at the corners anyway!

Quote:
How about the same grill cloth as in the jpatton amp - its grey/charcoal, almost black - nice material that I typically use on VOX/Matchless amps.

Yes, please use the same grill cloth as jpatton used on his; it looks great.

And the question from this forum:

Quote:
Will I need to get my grille cloth stencil out and fire up the airbrush?

Thanks for the offer JP, but I think I'll leave the stenciled logo off my cabinet. I'll be using this amp to play with the worship team at our church, so the large logo might not be appropriate in our church sanctuary. Stephen - I would like you to add the thin backer piece you mentioned. Please mount your standard logo plate over the grill cloth instead.

Thank you both (Stephen and JP) for all the work you've put into developing this cabinet. I look forward to watching the progress. I feel like the proud father of a new baby boy!

-Dan

Good day everyone. My first post.

Cab looks good. Any reason why it is not a Matchless type like the previous Trinity 15??

For various reasons this design was used but mostly because the 18 & 15 share the same chassis to save on cost and inventory.

A couple of small things to do. I put the Tubby in there to be sure it will fit yours and it does perfectly.

It will be very interesting to see how it all hangs together and works as a combo. You may need to isolate the EF86 but try it first. There will be vinyl gaskets between the cab & chassis as well. jp had a great idea how to isolate his EF86 and it's sure not causing any problems. I know jpatton's was perfectly fine.

Coming soon to a studio near you. 8)
