I was inspired to create a Resources forum. It is only visible to forum members. Looking for applications for active moderators or two, or 3.

Contains all Build documents, tips, techniques.

Forum is not open for general posting so it is quite limited & orgainzed we hope.

Email or PM me if interested.

Hi Stephen; although I'm not planning a build at this time , I think this new forum would be of great help to both oldies and newbies. Go for it!

Cheers, Jim

I think this will be a real improvement for those of us with limited time (like me) and attention spans (especially me) who just want a quick look at a schematic or layout, etc. without the big search effort.

Stephen, I haven't forgotten about the "How To" section and promised tutorials. I have been attempting to keep things simple as you had suggested, and I've been spending some time trying to whittle down all of the info into logical and practical portions. I'm thinking that this info will be especially useful to those considering a build and newer builders, but hopefully it will be of interest to the seasoned builder as well. Stay tuned...

Joe G

Just my opinion, but there is no such thing as "too much information" when it comes to amp building suggestions, tips and hints. :D

Go for it, this would be a great resource.

Hi to you all

For a novice like me it is without a doubt difficult to understand what you pro's are talking about (at least you guys sounds like pro's to me)
I am able to read schematics and lay outs but i do not understand all the technical stuff you are all talking about.

May be it is a good idea to explain in the 15 and 18 watt lay outs what all the resistors and capacitors means (screen resistor, coupling caps, grid resistor etc and what is what on the board) This will help me and others in general to understand better what's going on

Thank you and keep up the good work

Floyd
