Last Friday evening, I had the pleasure of having dinner with Stephen and his lovely wife, after which they attended my band playing at a local bar. I was of course using my TC15, as was my rythm guitarist.

I hope I didnt sound too bad, Stephen, I did play a lot better Saturday night (always sound better after a night's practice :) ) but I'd love to see a photo or two.

Now I have to try and make it to one of the Toronto jams one of these days!

I wanted to post the video too and I will eventually. You guys really rocked that place. Straight-Up Rock & Roll!! We had a lot of fun and will get you to a Jam soon.

BTW Folks, that is one of his own hand made guitars.

More pics/video when we return.

Damn... I look old. For the record, I am 37 not 57 as my appearance may lead one to believe.. :)

I think I need one size larger T shirt as well. :)

Please let me hear the video before you post anything!! Yikes!

Thanks again for hooking up with Danny and I. We both really enjoyed it. And the funny thing is Saturday night his Orange head was acting up again and he ended up using his TC 15 all night. I told him to get rid of the darn thing... like I did with mine! (the orange that is)

Well we hooked up with Cups on Manitoulin Island today. Had a nice dinner, talked about amps and life in the slow lane!

It's nice here! and so are the people!

Stephen,
Its actually "Paranoid"... and a shabby cover at that. :)

My exuse is I was up before 6 am, hadnt had enough to drink (I was driving home that night) and we havnt covered that tune for almost a year.

But enough excuses.. ;) I know I suck!

Thanks for the clip though, its fun to watch us play. I have only seen one other when we first started playing together in 06'.

Well, we thought the band was great and unfortunately Paranoid was the only tune I took a video of 'cause there were other great tunes too.

Wait 'til we have a Trinity Jam in TO!!

Ah STephen, you are kind :) I really really enjoy playing with my band, though and even though I beat myself up about my singing and playing, I keep at it trying to improve.

Here is a story for you...

Tonight (just got back) we were playing that outdoor thing in Swastika for thier 100th anniversary. There were 5 or so bands playing, some older REALLY talented guys who have been playing for 30+ years. Then we went on...I was kind of nervous already - and I couldnt stand the MArshall head/cab I was playing through ( 2000 dsx or something - I forget the exact model). I wanted my TC15 so badly! I couldnt get a decent clean out of that marshall. My pedals all sounded harsh and tinny and we only got a few minutes to set up before we had to start playing. All the sound was rented along with the guys mixing. I am really glad you heard us at the bar with my own gear, through one of your amps.

Trinity amps rule! :)

PS - I already told LEsley that the next time you guys are getting together, we have to make plans to visit her mom and I am bringing my 15, one of my AC guitars and getting together with you all!

I cant wait... !

AJC-

Is that straight TC-15 or are any pedals involved? Sounds great! 8)

thats would be the radial Plexitube overdrive, set to about 1/4 drive through the ef86 side of the TC15 set fairly clean. I have the volume set to just under 1/4 with the MV off.

The Plexitube works really well with the 15... so far its my all time favourite overdrive pedal.
