All I see is the 18 watt transformers. Is this the transformer he uses for all his amps? If so are they beefed up like the matchless amps?

The original 15 used Matchless transformers (I have one). The TC 15 uses the Trinity transformers (I have one as well). I tyhink they are the same as the 18 set, there is a 5 and 8K ohm output. Physically they are similar sized to the Matchless, but there is no choke on the TC15 like there was on the original 15.

Thanks, one more question. I see a reference to the crunch and munch
switch. What is it?
Also with the tc 15 when you jumper the channels do you get the typical fatter sound with increased gain? Never jumped a amp with the 86 tube.

The crunch and munch switch switches between the 5K and 8K ohm impedance taps on the transformer and gives a overall tonal change - crunchy (with a bite) or munchy (smooth).

When you jump the channels you get a bigger, more complex sound with increased gain and tone control.
