Finally got an email from Terry Kilgore - and decided to go all out, and get NOS for my Trinity 15 (original), my TC-15 and the Triwatt!

Cost me about 2X what I pay for a retube from the Tubestore with modern stuff... but if it lasts longer and more imortantly sounds better I willbe VERY pleased!

Anytime... you are always welcome!

I am so interested in getting these so I can see if I am able to hear any diferences. The most striking is supposed to be the NOS EF86 vs the new stuff. And my Original 15 (which has one tube thats ringing lately) as well, since I still use that amp for home practice all the time.

WOW! :)

They work!!

No more EF86 squeal for me! ;)

The NOS tubes (I just put some sylvania 12ax7's in my tc15, and some rca or ge el84's and a tesla ef86) sound a lot more "ballsy". Just more raw sounding when you turn it up. No whine, no noise just amplified guitar and some wicked tones.

I need to ab the old and new tubes now... got to go play :)
