Has anyone tried the 12" Vintage 30 copy that Carvin sells? Does it really sound like a V30? It's on sale for $19.99, and it's such a good deal, but if it sounds like junk I would rather pass... let me know what you think.

I've seen several accounts that they aren't really Vin30 copies...but G75 copies....and Carvin knows darn well that if they market them as such, they'll never get them out the door.

I would proceed with caution.

I've heard some guys rave about them....but they've all also admitted that the speaker needed some serious breaking in before the buzz went away...and that if it was in an open backed cab...it would never go away.
