Does the smaller cab in the tramp impact the tone?

I am getting the tramp with a TT I am wondering if anyone has tried a 12"

I don't know of anyone who's tried a 12" TT in a Tramp yet. However, IIRC there's been a comparative review of a 10" Red Fang vs a 12" Red Fang in a previous Tramp thread. That may give some useful indication.

Being a small open-backed combo, the Tramp cab isn't as tight in the bottom end as the 1x10 closed back would be, and maybe a little "smaller" sounding than a bigger open-backed cab. I did try mine with the 12" Red Fang both in the Tramp cab and a larger open-backed 1x12 and there was very little difference.
