I like the plexiglass back, pretty view you got from your window there.
I did the same thing with the back of a wah once, used all NOS components and wire.

Dampening rings are not required but I had them so...

I play so many different settings based on mood / feel and this amp is a joy to play. I will add, after doing the resistor change it is very open sounding and the power level pot works great!

If I am bored AND have some spare time I may do a youtube video outlining some settings and sounds. I would only consider this mini review if people did not obsess with my playing ability and just listened to the tones but I digress.

Seriously, the Celestion blue is "THE" speaker for this tone stack. I can get fender champ sounds a la richards and clapton to jtm45 ish break up like cream and others. With some crappy tubes I can get 5e3 tone on melt down but lacks the 3d openness I currently get. Good or bad, I do not need reverb with this amp due to the natural harmonics and fullness I can coax out of it. Jalapeno tone stack rocks for rock, blues, country, reggae, jazz, jive, etc. Great work Trinity.

As for the paint job... I will add metallic air brushed sparkles and a fine border on the flames to bring out a defined point to the flame. I just needed to get the rough painting (cab, wiring etc) done first!

Very nicely done! What are the dimensions of the cab? I have a Celestion Blue 12" and an Eminence Red Fang 10". I would like the option of using the Blue just because it sounds soooo good. Love the plexi back.

The dimensions of the cab are the same as the plans for tramp cab found on this website. Not a lot of room but the celestion blue fits. I did manage to pick up a gold plated, 90 degree shielded speaker cable from long and macquade for $9 that will be required if you want to use a 12" speaker.

As for the plexi glass, I got that from my place of work which is a beer museum. For those not used to cutting plexi glass - do not use coarse blade saw or it will shatter! Lots of info on the web for cutting and wear saftey glasses. Maybe Trinity amps will include plexi glass with their chassis and cab full kits?! (Cheap for them and cool for all!)

I'm contemplated on having a good preamp tube and 3 different power tubes to get different tones that I can use for the odd recording project. My thoughts are:

For Blues-Rock and I will need a retainer but I have a question. Will the tramp handle this tube? This is a quote from The Tube Store outlining this tube:
"Heater current was in the 1.3 amps per tube range as opposed to 900mA commonly found in a 6L6. The test amp had good iron and there were no issues with heating or reduced heater voltage. Do not assume your amp will be as stable. If you do not know if your amp can handle the additional heater current draw, contact the manufacturer before installing KT66 tubes."

I have been running a KT88 in mine and have had no issues. The Trinity Iron handles it quite nicely.
Makes a most excellent bass practice amp.

Tramp has 6.3 VAC 3A Heater supply, so no worries.

Ok, thats enough to let me add, say another 12ax7 and another power tube.
Then I could add a cct to blend the two and dial between 6V6 and EL34 and really have a tone monster
