I took electronics at Devry years ago but never finished and am now a painter. I would like to learn how to fix/build guitar amps. I can fix simple things (input jacks, power supplys ect.) but would like to learn more. I have a high apptitude for electronics and math and play several instruments. I would like to fix amplifiers but am not sure where to begin. Is there a school I can go to. Can anyone help me.??

You need a good foundation in electronics - College can provide that.
If no time for college, I suggest you read some books (see our Resources forum) then build an amp, and learn the theory from that and playing with an amp. We have several amps that would help, but I would recommend a Tramp due to its versatility and how it employs most of the theory you read about, all into one amp.
