OK.. so I have finished the assembly, and attempted start-up today.

Tweed with VRM. VRM replaces the main power switch.

Here is what I have right now...

1) LED is on.
2) Standby switch sends a very faint hum to the speaker when set to "on".
3) No audio
4) Hum does not vary with any adjustments to volume or VRM.

Any suggestions about where to start?

Do voltages check out when the VRM is maxed?

I poked at a few, and they seemed OK.

I'll do a more thorough check when i can get back to it.

If you're voltages check out okay, you may have a problem with the input wiring. I'd check signal wire from the inputs and also check your volume and tone pot wiring. I've accidentally wired the volume pot backward before because I installed my pots 180 degrees from what the layout shows, and got the same result as what you're describing.
