With the gtrs I use and the Alnico Blue it sounds a tad bright even with treble all the way down usually. Which component, where on the circuit and what value do you think would work best to try to tame it? Great amp btw just now getting to where I know it enough to fine tweek.

Bright in both modes?

Increase C3 and C4 depending which mode is bright (or both).

To kill a bit of high end overall you can try bypassing one or both of the plate resistors with a small cap (22pF-100pF).
