Hi All,

For a long time now I have been on the look out for a new guitar amp. I put a deposit on a very expensive boutique amp but unfortunately the maker had a few issues and was unable to make the amp.

I then when looking at other amps and came across the trinity amps. After listening to the clips I decided I liked the TC 15, the triwatt, the tramp and tweed :D I have had an interest in electronics since I was young (I still am only young).

I guess I am a pain in the arse customer because a lot of kit builders didnt respond to my emails after the first quote.

I would like to say that Stephen was excellent with the emails, replied very fast considering we live about 156,000 kms apart.

There was more than 40 emails.

So for anyone who is thinking about a kit I would highly recommend Trinity based on customer service.

This isnt exactly the right place in the forum but I didnt want to put it anywhere where guest can not see it.

Trinity will defiantly get raps from me and more than likely return business.

thanks a lot Stephen,

MBP.

I've bought three and planning on buying more. Gave my 1974 to a buddy the other day has a huge vintage amp colection he can't stop talking about how great my sIII is. Stephen is fantastic to deal with on every account. He delivers and does not bs. I'll be buying more in the future. Just got to get him to do a jtm45 and some sort of brown amp.

I was hoping that an AC50 style kit could be done. Would it be possible to use the triwatt 30 watt power amp for it?

The AC50 uses EL34. If it you wanted a lower power AC50, you could use the 6V6 output section but you'dprobably be better off copying the VOX circuit. You coud make the OT work with EL34, but it's a bit if a fudge too.

Not much chance we're doing an AC50.

We're currently building an 18 watt plexi brown. Stay tuned.

What does the "brown" part of that signify?

Brown - basically a hot rodded Marshall Plexi. The term brown comes from EVH and his tone.
