Hi All,
My Tramp head kit arrived safe, sound and complete! 8) I will be swapping in an IEC receptacle for a removable power cord. My first question is which wires need to be 20 gauge and which ones are OK with just the 22 gauge? The majority of the wire that came in the kit is 22 and just 2 or 3 pieces of 20. Are the current levels low enough in this amp for it to not really matter? Also, there was one piece of what appears to be 24 or thinner (couldn't read the spec on it) and it's red. Is this piece for a specific purpose?
Thanks,
Gene

You can use 22 gauge everywhere. 20 gauge was provided for heater wires typically, but even that is overkill. The thin red wire is for wiring up the pull switches
