Hey so I recently finished my Tramp and it sounds fantastic! The next step is going to be the chassis, and I figured I'd go ahead and build my own in my wood shop. My plan is to build it out of pine or something like that and have the controls facing up, tubes down and the transformers facing in toward the speaker. The only issue with this is I don't see any holes that could be used to mount the thing. Any tips on mounting the chassis to a cabinet? The only thing I can think of now is either drill holes in the chassis, or put a shelf of some kind on there (but with the tubes this seems like it'd be tough).

Is there not two elongated slots on both sides of the chassis that it can be hung from like a 5e3 . If you look in the GAS section there is a picture of the tramp cab (although depending on the revison of chassis) the newer ones i think will fit in a 5e3 cab

Yes, two holes on the front to top mount same as a Tweed. There are also 4 holes on the chassis that you can feed 4" 10-32 long bolts through from the bottom and fasten it in a head, so lots of options.

Ok, I wasn't sure if that was what those were for or not. After lots of work to build it I didn't want to break it by not mounting it properly
