Have not purchased yet and looking at various kits and am wondering if the 18w sllTMB will be loud enuff to gig with i.e. run with bass, drums, keys etc.,.I understand more speakers = more volume. I would run the head right now with a closed back 1 x 12" Red White & Blues and would add an extension cab in the future. Am just worried about purchasing and finding out that there's not enuff horses under the hood. Otherwise will have to look at JTM45.
Thanks for your comments / advice.

Hi. Welcome to the forum!

Sometimes it takes a couple of days to get a response here. I haven't built an 18 watt amp, so from personal experience I can't say if it's loud enough to play with a band. My guess is it would be.

Based on the two 15 watt Trinity amps that I have built, I can say that they are loud enough and first rate when it comes to documentation, support, and the quality of the parts and cabinetry.

Sometime it takes a bit to get back on posts. There's a lot of moving parts here!!
An 18 watt is plenty loud to gig with in small - med venues. Assuming you can tame your drummer a bit!!.

Played a gig on the weekend mid size bar. granted thru a 4x12 with another guitar player. had to keep turning down the vrm was probably running plate voltage around 200

Should be plenty load enough thu single speaker

On a side note buddy of mine had Coco build him a plexi II . I told him to order the vrm and Coco asked him several times if he wanted it. he's still kicking himself for not getting it.
