Hi
after rebuilding my plexi on a vox Chinese chassis ( tricky ) I have no sound at all
checked voltage all are correct except pin 2-8 and 7 on V3 6V in place of 60 V
swap tubes and check ground preamp but no way ..
any suggestions ?

Is this our plexi 18 watt? Always check your ground points and power supply points and jumpers.

Yes this is the trinity plexi 2009 model I bought from you

Ground is ok maybe this is TMB volume pot or tone normal chanel pots

I m going to shunt 470K and 470R resistor

If the plate voltage (pin 1 & 6) are OK, then the issue has to be a connection. I would suggest the jumper between 470K-470R-470K or the 56K resistor to ground. Check all and the wiring around this carefully.

Its good practice to measure components to conform their value! Hard to resist putting them straight in tho!!

I guess brown and yellow could look similar. Usually it's red and orange that get mixed up.

Yes, it only takes a few seconds to verify that the resistor is right with an ohm meter and it saves a lot of headaches later. Especially with 1/4 watt resistors that use a four-band color code, but those won't show up in tube equipment.

I also check capacitors before installing since my meter can measure those, too.
