Hello. I built a TMB model a year ago and I like it very much!! :P
I have noticed back then that the TMB channel of the TMB model has minor differences comparing it to the TMB channel of the sIII.

Some comments:
In my TMB build:
I used no volume control in the TMB channel.
I preserved the 2.7k cathode resistor of v2a (just like in sIII TMB channel) and did not used the 820R cathode resistor as TMB model suggests..

The questions I wanted to ask are..
is the voicing of TMB in low gain settings differs much from the sIII ??
Is the 100K resistor (R8) from v2a grid to ground in sIII model affects its voicing, or its purpose is just decreasing the gain ??

Thanks !!!
:)

The main difference is that the TMB model, TMB channel has more gain on tap than the sIII, TMB channel.

Yes, the 100K resistor pair in sIII model decreases the gain.
