The board posters in the south may be the only ones to care about this but I thought everyone may like to know that the Gibson Store in Nashville is selling all their Marshall amps at list price (or so they say). Gibson is no longer a Marshall dealer and wishes to free up the room.

I was just there yesterday and they had a MKII, JCM 800, and BluesBreaker combo. The BluesBreaker was tagged at 2500, but they offered to sell it for 1500. I don't get to see a lot of Marshall dealers since I live in Misssissippi, but that seems like a fair price when the reissue baby bluesbreaker is about 2200-3200.

The "baby bluesbreaker" (I asume you mean model 1974x 18 watt) is also a handwired boutique quality amp. The Bluesbreaker is a production amp made on a circuit board (unlike the original) so they are really two different levels of build quality.

However, those prices are a good deal.
