I built the Triwatt, TC15, Tramp all sucessfully and 30 plus other amps.

I got to startup testing and I had tubes in place.

Nothing but a little crackle is all I heard. Not loud. I heard guitar for a moment but not solid, kinda far away. Turning vol a little crackle, pull bright a harsh Buzz and lots of crackle.

Where do I start searching first?

I can add pictures soon.

With all those amp builds, it sounds like a fantastic accomplishment! I would suggest first examining the tube seats and connections for the crackling and buzzing you are experiencing, since they may occasionally be a little slack. Additionally, check for any cold solder connections that might be interfering with your solder joints. A simple check of the pot and the input jack may also be helpful. I'm excited to see those images and wish you luck!

Reflowed solder on the socket side of the board including all sockets

Turned it on and there is a sharp pop as it gets turned on.
Slightly tapping the input jack with 1/4” jack makes single loud pop too
Volume does change a little when turning volume up in master volume up.

Every potentiometer crackles when turned.

It sounds like you're experiencing some classic amp issues! Before diving deep, have you tried the innocence test? Sometimes, checking the simplest connections or components can lead to surprising discoveries. Looking forward to seeing those pictures!

Ensure the signal path is clear and all components (resistors, capacitors, etc.) are properly soldered and poly track working. A poor connection in this path can result in weak or distorted output.

Well I couldn’t bias the amp and was thinking the bias pot was bad or writing writing but it turns out the diode failed that feeds into bias circuit.

Got some diodes coming.

But also the clean channel out without engaging the od is a bit weird. Very quiet but when when I engage the bright switch it is loud. Gonna have to figure that out next.

You can start with a safety check by unplugging the amp, discharging capacitors, and inspecting for loose connections, cold Incredibox Colorbox Mustard solder joints, or grounding issues. Test tubes by reseating them, checking for proper glow, or swapping with known good tubes.
