How do you deal with poutine withdrawal over there in Old Blighty? Hard to find a good donair too, I imagine, and no Tim Horton's. And what do you do with that drawer full of Canadian Tire Money?

Yeah Canadian Tire Money! But I can survive without Tim Horton's. They've got *real* coffee in Europe. Even Starbucks sucks in comparison. Hmmm, I got an idea for a new slogan, "Suck a Starbucks today!"

jac, FYI, when you buy stuff at Canadian Tire, they give you this fake "money" at the checkout. You can save it up and buy more Canadian Tire goods with it. It makes shopping there so much more exciting!

Thanks for the kind thoughts guys. :) Well, yes, I'm a Canuck, hanging out over in Marshall Country at the moment. Anyway, I'm doing fine. I was actually posting over on AX84 before 18watt.com. I'm also in contact with Graydon (another Cannuck BTW). Yes, there is hope. Graydon very much recognizes the value of 18watt.com and is keen to get it back and running again as soon as possible. Watch this space...... Where would you guys be without us Cannucks?

Well I now know of four great Canadians then!

Okay, it's becoming really time consuming trying to follow threads here, at AX84, Amp Garage, TGP, Hoffman's, trying to figure out where all of the Old Gang is going to settle. This Diaspora is Not A Good Thing.

OK, for all of you new members, I'm re-staking my claim as THE most Canadian non Canadian on this forum :D :D

Bonus points if anyone can figure out why, Jac can't play (he already knows)

Mr. dB, I guess I wouldn't really consider poutine to be Canadian, it's more Quebecois, and a number of them don't really want to be Canadian, eh? :?

And if anyone ever wants a thrill ride for free, try driving the QEW during rush hour(s).

Sorry, Coco, really got off amp talk,
anyway
Was having' a problem drilling the chassis holes. I was burning up bits like crazy. So I picked up a set of Forstner tined bits. Nice set. Each bit has a cover and comes in a really nice dovetailed wooden box.
I'm hoping these will go through the steel and aluminum without burning up. Haven't tried them before.
Can't afford the greenlee's so I have to make do.
