I would however, like to know which position the CC'S go into. Is it the 100k's? Those I'll change'

Coco, I'm going to end up using hammond for now. The only chassis I have large enough laying around is hammond and it's tight. I also had a 270fx and a 125ese, so for now I'll try them. I realize they won't sound like yours But, let's see how she'll sound. I'm populating and drilling the chassis now. So shouldn't be too long now.

I am buying all my parts for my MH6V6Plexi, I'll be using CC only for the 100k & 82k in the PI as well

My JTM 45 clone has CC's everywhere except some of the power resistors and its silent. With a decent tidy layout, hiss and hum should be almost totally eliminated.

There are guys over at the Metroamp forum who have built silent 100 watters. I dont see the problem myself other than using them in the bias circuit. The metal film or carbon film would be useful.
