well i was calling around looking for a tube tester to test some of my new tubes, and i found this one guy that had a tester. i went over there and he helped me check out my 6l6s, and 6v6s. after that he asked me if i wanted any spare electronics parts. "sure, why not" i said. he gave me a big box full of NOS parts, military parts manily. so far i've went through the top layer and i've found 20'ish pots, 20'ish sprague electrlytics from the late 50s/early 60s, a few nice looking caps/resistors/switches/octal sockets. not to mention stuff i have no idea what it is.

i'll post some pics later. maybe somebody can help me identify some of this.

Liquid,
Those things you called glass resistors are Diodes if you look close you might see a number they look kind of like the diodes used in a mxr distortion + or a pro co Rat are there any number wrote on the envelope???

the # on the envelope is 1N100. on the diode itself is either a "5" or a "S".

Nice man! What have you got in the way of switches?

How many of those nice carbon comp resistors did you get?

so far i've just found those two resisitors. all the little stuff has filtered down to the bottom of the box, so hopefully i find more. i have 73 of those sprague caps that were taking up quite a bit of space, but it appears that these individually wrapped pots are the bulk of the box. they're miltary issue, in a sealed package with silica gel inside, and covered in a cloth. there has to be 100+ of those.

oh yeah and switches, here's a few of the ones i can probably use.......

Red is usually positive. The case may be grounded so check to see. Nice stash!
