I've been delayed on the pics. My dig camera is broke. I am borrowing one from someone this weekend.

No squeal at all. No hiss and hum. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't do one thing after powering it up except play it. I am a little perplexed with the normal channel. I don't like it. It sounds too much like the tmb channel with no balls. How can I get that channel clean, or is it not possible with the el84's? It must be possible to get more clean than I have now on that channel. If not I will look into mods for that channel, or I'll stick a tremelo in it.

One thing thats not doing anything is the NFB switch. Absolutly nothing. Anyway I like what I have and I don't think that switch wil enhance what I have now....will it?

Ahhh, you built the JA version of the TMB, didn't you?

In general, the normal channel should be pretty good until about half way. Clean then it starts to get dirty. But that channel is / should be a great sounding channel. The NFB should clean up the sound anyway, but I don't know how it's built into the JA design or any experience with hias stuff.

Yup. i did the Ja Layout. The ormal channel sounds like the tmb channel but like I said with no umph.... Mine starts breaking up on two and three. Which leaves me with virtually no clean.

The NFB does nothing. I heard a couple other people say the same thing.

The footswitch get a little more gain. but...

I have a friend that owns guitar warehouse pro and he said "that thing is incredible."

He wants me to build one and put it in his shop to sale. I told him this is my first build, and I don't know if I am going to sell them.... probably not.

I just built this one so I could have a decent amp for my guits.... but instead I got a great amp...


I heard a tele through it today. classic AC/DC sound the guy got.. I couldn't believe it.

I am really happy with my build and would never get rid of it.
