Just for my interest. I have a layout for the tiny terror and there is a 100pF cap on the gain pot. If I change that to a higher value one it would brighten up the amp, is that right? What values are we talking about here? Second question: If I want to make that switchable, can I use a regular spdt on-on switch, remove that cap on the gain pot and solder it to one of the outer lugs of the switch, another value to the other outside lug of the switch, wire these together and to one of the now open lugs of the gain pot. Another wire from the other open lug of the pot to the middle lug of the switch. Is that a way to do that?
And please don't tell me that it will invalidate my warranty, I know that

For the cap, you can always just double or half it and install it and 'field test' It wont hurt anything to try it.

The switch sounds about right, but a drawing would help clarify it.
