Hey all.

Been working more on the Forum than on amps for the past couple of years. However, I just fired up my TRIWATT build today. I'd publish the pictures, but I'd bring shame to right angled wiring folks everywhere. Anyway, I have some sound coming out of the speaker, and I can hear changes when I vary every pot, so quite a bit is going right for me. However, I don't have any input audio at the speaker end. Chopsticking yielded no loose connections. Anyway, here are my voltages. Can my V3 and v4 are the biggest discrepancies from the published numbers, in some cases double the values.
Code:
Tube   Pin 1   Pin 2   Pin 3   Pin 4   Pin 5   Pin 6   Pin 7   Pin 8
V1     116   0   1.05    x    x   100   0   0.7
V2   150   0   1.14    x    x   68.1   0   1.2
V3   222   130   130    x    x   130   0   130
V4   147.2   130   130    x    x   194.4   103   130
V5    x    x   438   495   36   356    x   1.6
V6    x    x   438   404   36   36    x   1.6

Hey Coco, which pins of the tubes are the cathodes?

BTW, I poked around some more, did continuity tests all over the place and things seemed fine. I can hear sounds come out of the speaker when I poke around the thing and, depending on the settings, I can hear sound when I chopstick the caps on the v1, v2 end of the board. Still nothing from the inputs themselves and I HAVE double checked connections and continuity on those jacks.

Pins 3 and 8

Check all your jumpers!

So when you plug is cable, there is continuity from the tip to the 68k grid resistor on v1?

Yup! If I plug into the Link there is to both of them, and on the other side of the resister, i read 68k. I'll keep looking.

We're these grounded ok? High voltages often mean a problem with a cathode ground.

I checked pins 3 and 8 for continuity, and everyting appears okay. I found and fixed a bad connection at the star ground near the PT I can now actually hear a guitar signal coming out of the speaker, though with the amp dimed, I have to put my ear right to the speaker to hear it. The base noise level sounds right for a dimed amp with the overdrive on and dimed, however just a miniscule guitar signal.

How about posting some detailed pictures of the build? That would help a lot.
