Hi everyone...

Just picked up my second Kit this weekend and I am going through the build docs and reading everyone's builds with pictures...

I purchased the VRM kit to put into the build as well to make the neighbours happy.

In the VRM docs, it mentions to move the 1M input jack resistors to pins 2 and 7 on v1. But it does not mention if i should add a wire in its place...
I.e. on the high inputs do I leave an open circuit between the hot and the switch and a closed circuit from switch to ground?

Does this make the "Hi" and "Low" inputs the same? the 1M R1 and R4 will be used for both inputs?

Thanks for any help....

My soldering iron is getting itchy...

You don't need any extra jumper there. Just move the 1M over and it will do its thing in the new location.

Thanks for the quick response...

For the Hi Inputs, the Switch is still connected to ground and then to the input ground star still?
Or is it just the ground connected to the input ground start.

Heaters are wired up and the PT is wired to the point where I need to finish building the VRM Switch before finishing the Power Section...

The second time around is a lot easier.....

Well my Tweed is complete.
I did a double check of my wiring and found no errors, so decided to power it up and check it out...
Sound check went well and I am impressed...

Here are my voltages.
V1 Pin 6 121.3 (130)
V1 Pin 1 120.7 (130)

V2 Pin 3 1.2 (1.4)
V2 Pin 1 155.5 (158)
V2 Pin 6 197 (204)
V2 Pin 7 15.1 (18)
V2 Pin 8 44 (50)

V3 Pin 4 322 (348)
V4 Pin 4 322 (348)

V3 Pin 8 19.7 (20)
V4 Pin 8 19.7 (20)

Forgot to measure V1 Pin 8 & 3, V3 Pin 3 and the voltages on V5 with the VRM.

Pictures to follow...
